The ballast tanks for the Ventura were long overdue some much-needed attention. After a long period of use, the ballast tanks required some cleaning and recoating, along with a thorough inspection to check for damage. Renowned within the industry for our top-class services and efficiency, Baymarine were brought onboard to tend to the ballast tanks of the Ventura.
OUR SOLUTION
To start, our team used water jetting equipment to remove all remaining waste deposits and any loose coating. Once the tanks were properly cleaned and prepped, our painting team was ready to go in and apply a coating of RS500P – a wet and rust tolerant epoxy coating that creates an excellent seal and protects the tanks from further rusting or water damage.
